The only difference with Tim's method and it's a personal thing, is I do fit the U bolts before the shackles as I prefer to struggle with the shackles than fiddle with those outer U bolt nuts!
Ah yes, it all comes flooding back me now! Colin's bang on here, the outer U bolt nuts are a complete and absolute PITA. Doing it the other way around may well be easier. I am not going to volunteer to strip and rebuild my rear springs just to find out, though.
