75th Anniversary models are in short supply...canny owners like DaveW hanging on to them...so it may have to be a GDI.
But if something worth having turns up 'sometime', I may have to let Bumble go. It would have to be at least another 45bhp though.
The only time I've grounded so far with the Roadster was in the British Legion Car Park at Bourton on the Water where there is a deceptively high full width extended hump, and when I came off it at car park speed, I took a knock and scrape, which luckily didn't do any damage.
You can get stuck on the gearbox crossmember because its an inverted U - Keith at BHM suggests a steel cover plate over the lowest point - this will reduce clearance by the thickness of the metal but present a flat profile instead of the inverted U. Not necessary on 3.0 Roadsters because as has been said, the sump and bellhousing are both lower than the crossmember.
