Oh now that is disappointing especially as May is traditionally one of the better months for the west of Scotland.
Combined with the poor hotel experience it is a double whammy likely to put anyone off a repeat visit.
Very unlucky but I hope you put your feet up and enjoyed the quiet comfort of your own home...and maybe a dram or two!
