I turned the brief round and found a very welcoming and fair (very) priced hotel in Fort Augustus.
And a jolly good job you did too, Colin, or we would never have discovered the Inchnacardon Lodge - this has got to be one of my favourite hotels, endearingly shabby without being squalid, great food, and great ambiance.
Only a month or so to go and we'll be back up there!
Agree with you about Skye, though. I shan't rush to go back, especially when the Applecross peninsula is beckoning!
