That has to be an error surely? I saw that and thought that no naturally aspirated 2.3 engine would make that sort of power, especially in a mainstream production car. The 2.3lte Duratec in Caterhams CSR only produces 200bhp or 260bhp with Cosworth cams, TBs and re-mapping.
I believe Omex have fully developed their 2.5ltr Duratecs now, this sounds as if it would be a great engine in a Mog? Even better with a supercharger hung onto it?
I thought the same so checked the ford uk Web site and that's what it quotes. At a very reasonable £29k. The 5ltr version is only £33k. Guess it has 1/2 turbos?
