I have got the original "outdoor" car cover from Morgan,
and yes it scratches
but I almost don't have to use it

most of the time I use an old, "lighter/thinner" car cover,
and from now on, I'll use that under the bigger "outdoor"cover
to make sure no more scratches appear
conclusion: if you want to use the original outdoor-cover,
put another underneath
