Had a quick look for Monza type caps and could only find them with imperial threads. Far as I can tell the filler throat has a 50x2mm thread (I will happily stand corrected if there is someone out there who is better than me with the thread gauges) so an adaptor would be needed or some drastic surgery to the tank.
Think I've lost interest in making a Monza cap fit but will change the nitrile gasket for a Viton one when I get round to it. Looks like I have just saved about £130 which can be better spent on some decent wine . Every cloud and all that...
