Taking the pedal rubber off and sticking on some skateboard decking none slip tape would reduce the brake pedal height feel. I have it on my brake and clutch as it also increases the gap between the pedals for my size 12's. It's been on for 2 MOT's now and still not worn through. About £10 a roll and enough to do about 20 pedals, several friends have been given a piece ;-).
