If you check the Vulcan website for a small fee there are coffee mornings at Robin Hood airport Doncaster where XH558 is based and you can get up close and talk to ground staff on the last flying example.
I have been to 2 and will go on 26th Aug again in the Morgan...always something new to see and learn on each visit.
Don't laugh but I have also paid 558 pounds to experience with a privileged few a static engine power up !!!!!..this is an early 65th birthday present to myself...the Vulcan impressed me as a child at air displays and continues to do so !!!!
