Leaf springs are not needed with the 5 link setup although I understand that should anyone wish they can remain in addition to the revised suspension, not sure why anyone would want to do that but it is apparently possible. I was also told that it will not be a requirement for the suplex front suspension to be fitted to take advantage of the rear suspension upgrade.
The new arrangement sounds fantastic and in addition to the benefits already mentioned will allow for height adjustment which is of particular interest to me, and probably a number of other Plus 4 owners
