John, good point on price - but also note that the 5L is bolt on, no welding with no changes to or removal of the body; the 5L also has quite a few technical advances over the MulFab system. We, PM & I, started from different places and ended up in different places. I started from scratch with calcs to achieve good ride, good handling and high roll stiffness, PM started from a race system that had such different needs. Horses for courses I think. Regards PJB.
I have to say not having an interest in Mulfabs system for my car I have not investigated how it would fit and didn't realise that the body needed alteration / removal to fit the system so thanks for the clarification Peter. I'm sure a bolt on system with no need to alter the bodywork offers a lot of advantages to prospective buyers. This tends to suggest that
the price of this new 5 link system will be more attractive. I will be interested to see how this develops and how people who have had it fitted report on the system. Good luck with this project.
