Terrible luck John, we were much luckier - left Windsor at 9.00 am, parked up at Goodwood at 11.40 so about an hours queuing. Not bad in the circumstances, but feel bad that your own experience did not work out the same.
Great event, we felt honoured that we were able to witness this event and honour the few pilots that still remain from the 'few' and the many who tragically died to protect our freedoms and way of life in the Battle of Britain.
Well done to Lord March for allowing a full house to be there with free tickets. A very generous gesture even if a bacon sarnie was £5.00!
