I dont understand the independence thing - there are so many Scots south of the border and English north.

I talk to people in Edinburgh and Glasgow daily as part of my job, apart from the accent the people seem the same as other parts of the UK.

There are advantages and big risks involved but still it wont go away, but there must be a good reason why it is so compelling for so many Scots to still want it.

Drove past Faslane on a recent trip to Scotland which was interesting including a peace camp with a sign saying been here 30 years - pulled up some images - is that chap JC in the eighties?
