Falling rocks should be avoided in any car. Glass presents a feeling of security which is not deserved!
Having been hit by a falling rock I was bloody glad I was in a Volvo. Although admittedly the rock hit the windscreen the damage amounted to only needing to replace the screen - and even then it only cracked it and hadn't structurally failed.
