In Aus you can get black and white plates legally (OK for a fee...). The reflection quality is quite outstanding. Why can the same materials not be used in the UK?

I have the new silver on black plates and what intrigues me is that when photographed with a flash they appear negative (or positive) depending on your polarity! So the authorities still have a good handle on you.
