I find it interesting because the RBL in UK must have adopted the phrase at some point in their history as it is mostly associated with them and their Poppy Appeal. To find that it is also used by Legacy in Australia suggests some degree of collaboration - though perhaps given the nature of the Commonwealth that should not be surprising.
Either way, it is the sentiment that counts, whether written or spoken.
There is a slight irony in that Kipling wrote the words as the refrain in his poem Recessional at the turn of the 20th Century when he was full of 'empire' etc, but a few short years on his mood and thinking was completely reversed following the loss of his son in WWI. So I often wonder what he thought about it being used, out of original context, in connection with RBL and Remembrance etc.
