Well, you got a fair bit of reasonable arguments for why email is better than web-based in that thread on the email-based list. Not going to go through them again, and as this is a web-based forum, I am assuming most people here are happier with web-based stuff. If that's what works for you, then great.
I do know that I follow the email-based ones more actively than talkmorgan, because the hassle of a web-based forum detracts me, but as I stated in that email thread, am an old fart who still lives in the email era with the dinosaurs.
I realize email just isn't as sexy as web 5.0, twitter and facebook (especially if you have nothing else to do all day). I am just waiting for a garage-proof keyboard so I can twitter Really Important status reports such as "tightened the front shock attachment nut" even with oily hands)
