Should also have added in the world of rallying someone turning up at a small club single stage event with their own tyre truck, tyre warmers etc......
We had that hill-climbing motorcycles in the '90s. Tyre warmers were banned, but that didn't stop one guy hiding his bike in his van until right before his run. Didn't seem to do him much good, though...
