And congratulations the first 18yrs are the worst
I'm not entirely convinced that's true. Mine got a lot more expensive to run beyond mid twenties and seems to be peaking in early thirties.
I tend to agree... Ours are 27 and 30 next year and the older one is just about financially secure...but the second one is buying a house!
That won't end cheaply for the bank of Mummy and Daddy, I'm sure.
Simple message: kids eat you out of house and home till they leave, then they lean on you for financial support and when you die they take what is left (if any).
BUT who would be without them?
