Just a thought and I have to admit to not fully understanding all the issues with the bevelbox but has anyone thought or tried a solution based on an oil cooler combined with an electric oil pump to prevent excessive heat build up and to dissipate the heat?
Yes an owner in the USA has done this, there was a detailed description in the October 2015 MTWC bulletin magazine. It seemed an incredibly complex arrangement but the author claims the oil temperature never rises above 150F whereas before it was reaching 200F.
