I seem to have trouble turning my bloody car off
I hit the start stop button and it seems to ignore it so I press it again and the engine goes off, I have to press it yet again to turn all the electrics off and then it sometimes ignores that
Oh and the electronic handbrake sometimes engages when I start it up without me realising so it stops me driving off
Other than those gripes I have to say that this new BMW 520 M Sport Auto Touring I got last September is the best car I've driven in terms of eating up motorway miles
I can say the same for my BMW 530d Auto Touring, but I never had troubles with the electronic handbrake or start button. I love everything, the head up display, surround view, adaptive cruise control, etc, etc. Maybe the only thing that irritates sometimes are the auto wipers, which have problems with drizzle. When I drive in the UK (on the wrong side

), the headlights adapt automatically to RHD traffic, speed limits are recalculated form mph to kmh, the car knows it's driving in the UK. Blasting the german autobahn 200 kmh +, no problem. Fuel consumption: moderate!
So I think the cars evolved to a very high level at this time. I now will make a new step to electric driving, buying a Tesla Model S. I know I'll miss the BMW, but luckily....., there's always the Morgan, with all its imperfections and loads of charm!!
