White van man will have sped from the scene so less likely to be implicated!

There are so many vehicles about now that roads are "crowded".
Unthoughtful parking adds to the crowding.
People squeeze through gaps, rush instead of making progress, obvious impatience resulting in stupid actions etc .
I have over the years been leaving bigger gaps to cars in front . It makes for more relaxed driving due to more time to react etc. Mind you....you must be alert for others filling your safe gap, pushing through on your side of the road(get out of my way!), simply coming up behind far too fast etc.
On long journeys I tend to feel more relaxed on arrival.
There are opportunities to " get a move on" though but done sensibly then I feel it is ok but not behaving as if on a track.
