My Plus8 (2002) has done about 20k+ in the 3 years I have had her.
MOT last Nov was fine...no play noted. Total mileage now 49k.
In the history file there is no sign of any kingpin work. New Konis were fitted about 9 yrs ago by RT and set at " medium". The springs are Mulfab ( printed on them) so if not standard as factory fit there might have been an unrecorded job done.
I grease regularly at 1k miles max, usually less or if on a long run/ weekend trip.
At last MOT the only issue was slight play in the lower steering UJ - simple nip up of clamp nut needed the joint itself fine....annoyed I missed it during checks!
