Just wondering if anyone has experience or views on using a Suction Mount RAM Ball Head on their dashboard? I have used RAM Ball Mounts in the past on motorcycle handlebars, but they have all be the 'U Clamp' type and as such very secure.
I thought that I might be able to use my existing extension arm and holder for my Garmin GP62S in the Morgan if I could attach it via the suction cup. I don't want to fix it to the screen as it will clutter the view so I thought that fixing it to the dash or glove compartment lid (biggest single clear space for a 3" diameter base)might work. I just wonder how it would cope with the sticking to the surface and the vibrations of the car.
