Has anybody considered that the large and long gap (about ½" by 30"on mine) between the wing and bonnet is a better source of cold air than the side louvers that (unless you have reversed ones) are designed to remove warm air. It looks like the filter box in Heinz's pic is getting some of its intake from this gap?
I wonder if a long thin internal scoop would grab cold air better.
Any thoughts?
