To my mind any car built on a production line by robots is going to be no different from any equivalent car regardless of the badge it wears. Most of them share platforms, engines, and stuff anyway.

I have a 'Buy British policy', working on the basis that I prefer to keep my neighbours in work wherever I can, so it's Honda, Toyota, or Nissan i would tend to look at first for vehicles like this.

But I'm sure there will be people out there happy to pay over the odds simply to have the Maserati badge on their car.
