And there were many more Hurricanes than Spitfires. The Hurricane was also better able to withstand battle damage to fuselage and wings, apparently.

Don't really know much about the other two come to that. Colin will remember a visit to Duxford a few years ago, where a small group of Morgan owners assisted pushing a Seafire out onto the grass so the engineering team could do some engine tests after a recent rebuild. That really was a GRAND day out!
