I have a feeling that ECU's with immobilisers might be more troublesome than the earlier, simpler ones?
As for Induction Will there seems to be limited options. I replaced the (burnt) fabric induction pipe with an aluminium tube and insulated it from the manifold.
It takes it air from the same place as the original tube. There seems to be mixed opinions to whether picking up air in front (over the top) of the radiator makes the intake too long and creates turbulence in the tube, i have no idea either way what is best, but i do think that the large gap between the bonnet and the wing is a source of cold air rarely mentioned. A foam filter (turned inside out) in the original air box might improve airflow without sacrificing heat insulation, but it depends which side your filter is on?
