My inlet pipe failed in the underside over the manifold. Somewhere on here is a post about it.
I replaced with heat resistant tubing and tried running it up to the front & lower down but worried about water ingress.
Higher up there wasn't the gap above the rad so the hose was squashed.
I went back to the Mr Mog solution.
I did though fit a K&N filter & Librands exhaust & manifold. That did make a difference. My second ECU wasn't connected to the immobilizer but it was still starting to go wrong when I sold the car.
