I fully agree that Mog steering wheels are close enough. I´m wondering if you could unplug the removable hub just by unscrewing it. Normally it is an add on item and you could mount the wheel directly to the main steering hub. Perhaps you saw my post re my Momo wheel and I fought for every mm to get the wheel away from me closer to the dash.
Re the suspension, all Mogs need to settle in. Give her and yourself a little bit of time to find together. Regarding the noise level, a car with single throttle bodies never is really very quite.
