Reference PJBs comment...Morgan have already produced such such a car in the shape of the +4 Supersports of 2011/2012 vintage,

I drove and immediately rejected the ARP4 as a track car masquerading as a road car...gutless in mid range as outlined by most drivers and it was continually shouting at me to drive faster into the upper rev range to get a move on !!!!.

Also couldn't live with the sub 20 mpg as a Yorkshire man !!!

Yes it had good looks and the Cosworth badge but did not meet many peoples hopes and expectations.

I know of at least one other owner who from the start regretted selling his P4SS for the ARP4...and soon swapped it for a Roadster.

200 bhp, linear torque and rapid acceleration with 34 mpg in the shape of the P4SS gives me the Morgan Thrill..and it can be tame enough just to cruise happily at low speeds when required.

The best 4 cylinder Morgan in my opinion

Isn't it good that we all have different tastes and motoring needs !!!
