Adrian, I always had you down as pretty fit and athletic....or was that my rose tinted specs ? Came as a hell of a shock to hear the news. As has been said, there's no reason you shouldn't make a fully recovery. Does come as a bit of a shock though to realise the fragility of life sometimes. The reason why I splashed out on the Porsche last year!
There are always positive sides to things...in your case, apart from catching it in time.....you will be fussed over by some lovely ladies in nurse's uniforms. I won't mention the bedbaths and the compulsory enema....you can tell us about those experiences later
