As I said, I don't have heat problems. However; if it is 100F outside it is considerably hotter inside. I am amused, sometimes, with the attempts to get fresh air into the cockpit. However I have tried to do just this. On My +4-4 Str I put a 3" hole in the Bonnet, covered with a marine grill, into the foot space on the passenger side. To that installed a boat "Bilge Blower" to try and keep Mrs. Button comfortable. When it gets this hot, that the bilge blower was necessary I would look for an "Air Conditioned Motel". Heat shields over the muffler's help. The Roadsters in the U.S. have airconditioning. I almost had an air conditioning unit into the +8 Bitsa. I still have the pieces from "Vintage Air" in Texas. It was, as you call it, a bodge. Mrs. Button passed away and I abandoned the idea.
