I have rented a few times a Jeep when on vacation in the USA, Moab and at Capitol Reef both in Utah. It was fun to drive and to get to places where a normal car does not get you. The off road capabilities are excellent, the ride on the road ok. It has very small turning radius and, of all off all 4x4 cars it is the one which looks most resembles a morgan! There is whole culture around these cars, so plenty of upgrades available? Go for it.
