I have a recollection that the very first SLR was actually built on a TR ( The so- called 'Dangerfield' car) and then the remaining three were on the Plus 4 Superpsorts chassis.
Can anybody enlighten me?
I have vague memories of a lot of Lawrencetune TRs at the time including some with streamlined bodywork. But its a long time ago and my memory disappeared along with my hair and waistline.
