I bought one of the low entry ,aluminium jacks when they first appeared on the scene (it was the only one I could get under the Lotus
).It has been fine for me but there seem to be lots of cheap Chinese copies around which give
'problems' after a while.
Needless to say, a set of decent axle stands is an essential accompaniment.....
If I was buying now , I think I would go for the Costco ,low entry aluminium jack which gets good reviews and seems to be very well made.
