I knew a chap once who couldn't park in front of his own house because his neighbour always parked there by the time he got home.So he bought an old mini van and parked it in front of his house when the neighbour went out. It stayed there a long time.
My daughter has problems with turners on the drive but from the local shop which is at the end of the road. I think railway crossing gates would look good. White with a red target.
An old Landrover parked right at the end would dissuade some though.
There's a school just up the road from us and although it's not too bad, our road gets congested twice a day. Our drive is narrow and close to the road junction so we don't seem to get turners.
