No Stewart i bought the car with the Aeroscreens already fitted, in fact it was one of the deciding factors in buying the car, although i would have fitted them anyway by now.
Unlike yours,my car is a short door so there is a bit more scuttle available to fit the feet.
BTW whoever fitted the screens did not remove the padding under the leather and they don't suffer vibration, mirror could be a little better perhaps but i am not sure what would be involved in removing padding, keyhole surgery? On my car there is a central windscreen support that was sawn off, I fitted the mirror close to where this was, suggest you find a mirror with a wide base and fixed rake stem as a start, saw it off and glue the extension mirror shaft to this, obviously this involves buying two mirrors but there does not seem to be a fixed shaft mirror of the right height available. What controls the height is being able to also see through the hood window when in use.
Would be happy to give you measurements but would not be relevant to a long door four seater. regards john k
