Yes, a dusty, dirty and toxic environment with two sides, one for automobile trim bits and large, ornate american car bumpers, and other for smaller Motorcycle trim.
The bronze color of the copper plate prior to nickel and chrome was very pretty. They finish and polish the pieces in the copper state, then leave the chrome alone after the part is dipped.
The shop wouldn't have handled many more than what we had as it was crowded, with lots of sharp pipes and other dangers lurking. But, it was good. Any excuse for a road trip.
Finding the time and herding the cats is never easy so quite happy we pulled it off.
