The MMC NVH kit may be ugly but it does apparently stop the noise - anyone on here with the NVH kit able to comment?
I have had the NVH fitted since 500 miles from new.
As mentioned recently I have gone through 2 boxes for oil leak reasons.
While they have certainly not been silent , I would not say the current box "screams" as others have described or is unacceptable from a noise point of view.
I have a standard Morgan steel pulley fitted. So belt noise is acceptable now ( after 5K miles ) - previously on an ally pulley it sounded like an old washing machine on its last legs after 1K miles which it certainly does not now.
As I mentioned on another thread the repeated oil leaking issue is the killer issue for me as it smacks of incompetent design / manufacture / installation and will affect long term use of the car.
If I thought it could be made even quieter/more resilient by some means I would willingly shell out some cash , because I like the car so much.
Am I right saying Garage56 were looking at the bevel box at one point ?
