Brian it's a +4 so the engine is a TR4 engine not a Ford. Still capable of weberisation though experience with my other +4 was that you needed acces to an oil well to run it. I reverted to SUs even with petrol at 2/6 a gallon! The current version is on SUs SO I'm hoping for reasonable economy
My reference to invisbility was based on atendance at a few Morgan gatherings with virtually no early cars in view and the absence of such cars for sale in the UK. The club doesn't run any kind of register. I did contemplate buying cars from N Zealand and USA but wasn't brave enough to buy unseen and couldn't spare the time to travel to view. I had expected there to a reasonable number of earlier cars around but didn't seem so - I saw more at 3WC meetings and maybe there is a message in that
thanks for the gomog link which I already follow.Lots of tech stuff but a US site carrying much that one might hope the home country would have generated but then again the majority of 50s/60s production probably went to the US
Maybe when I get out and about in my new aquisition a few more contcts will be made. I just hope I don't end up leaving it in the garage which is where many of the others must be
