These insurance companies look for any alteration to hike the price up. I had my renewal from Carol Nash for my collection of classic bikes at £345 which had been increased from last years amount. When I queried the price I was asked if my circumstances had changed and I stated that I had just taken early retirement from the Civil Service and was then told that my policy would be increased to £495 because I have more time to ride the bikes? I strongly questioned this amount, shopped around, and got the price back to £345. It's one big cartel and a rip off.
