Hi Steve. That's the reason why I am not in favour of them, I can absolutely, 100%, see the advantages of the kits for easy greasing but I do wonder if not used with care that excess grease and an unprotected brake disc could lead to issues. Also I am a great fan of getting under with a couple of spanners and giving the front a spanner check and a visual look over for leaks and issues. Not anti the kit as its better than doing nothing and for some getting under is difficult (I am getting that way as the other knee is giving out).
Sorry, forgot to say, yes once the grease is bled through 2 or 3 pumps a side is about it.....if it's quiet you can actually hear the grease 'crack' through, from there I give is 2-3 shots more.
