Value will always be what you pay. Good deals to be done, but probably not much leeway unless anyone needs to shift them along.

Retained value will always be strong as they were a limited number. The downside was the much vaunted emissions upon MoT time, but MMC verified downloads are available and I know Peter (MR11MOG) spent a lot on his own car but ended up with a peach, only selling to get a Cosworth version with more legroom & handbrake etc.

Go and try one for size, see how you get along with one. My advice would be to choose a dealer that feels good to you and not just the bottom line. Bad dealers are available, but good dealers are worth millions at times.
