Most companies don't ask. Think it's Admiral who do, but apologies to them if it's someone else. However, if the question is asked - failing to tell them is
fraud. So the Police advice is very wrong. Read the policy and or questionnaire carefully. Only answer what is asked, and don't volunteer additional information.

The new 20 limits are a devil for being totally aware of your speed. It is actually very difficult to stay below 20mph unless you focus in a modern car. It almost feels like you should be going faster to let traffic flow !
Puts paid to making quiet progress in a two speeder. Although mine will trickle along in top at 12 mph if it's flat, 20 if there is any sort of hill is still not really fast enough. So for most 20s, that'll be first gear.
