My colleague at work did a course yesterday.
Over 55 on a dual carriageway with a 50 limit. He knew it was limited too.
This morning he says the course did him some good and is now more aware of road conditions etc.
Many years ago (during my seafaring days, so pre-91) a British Chief Engineer living in Florida was caught speeding. He was offered a course. Most of it, he said, was about how to avoid getting caught!
