Dynamat on the inside does OK. But I needed to take a bit more care of Mrs. Button. 1963 +4-4 Str. I put 1" Bat insulation on the outside of the bulkhead between to engine and the bulkhead. As I worked in a Ship Yard I was familiar with Owens-Corning insulation. This 1" bat has a hard backing of fiberglas. I out a sheet of it and cut to fit. There are fasteners that glue to the bulkhead, go thru the insulation/backing and have a snap cap that fits on the stem. (best description I can come up with). It takes a bit to fit. But patience. I used "Great Stuff" to seal the holes around the wires etc. On the side of the bulkhead I made a 3" hole and a matching 3" hole on the bonnet. Covered the hole in the bonnet with a marine fixture (Plastic). Used a bildge blower to pump fresh air into the footwell next to Mrs. Button's feet. This goes on and on.

Mind You if it is hot outside it will be hot inside. I try to make my long trips in the Spring and Fall. Avoid the Summer.
