A recent mystery (maybe spoke related, or inner tube quality issue) puncture got me up close with the wheel change process recently, and got me thinking more about nice alternatives to olde worlde wire wheels (a must-have for some, but not strictly necessary even for a 1930's reproduction or style vehicle like the M3W IMHO)...
Although normal car makers boost profits with alternative wheel offerings, Morgan Car Co has yet to take notice of this "modern trend".
1. M3W EV startup (Selfridges) edition has solid (steel?) wheels...
But...
I spoke to MMC this afternoon, the solid wheels are only available on the Selfridge edition.
No amount of persuasion will make them budge.
What a shame!
2. I like the Bugatti T35 wheels too...
But emailed the replica builder and they're not selling any off the car anyway. Nice replica though and an interesting alternative to an M3W for the same money!
