24-26psi seems to be right for me. I tried higher pressure and the driving became worse. No better street holding but very bumpy drive. 18psi is too low for my driving style.
I had both the 165/80 and 185/70 on my 4/4 and prefer the wider version. Vredestein much better than the Continentals.
