I am looking for advice or your thoughts on securing an overnight bag behind the seats on a planned trip at the end of next month. I have a 2011 Plus 4.
Off on a first foreign trip, with some of the boys, and can foresee leaving the car unattended, roof down, whilst stopping for fuel, coffees, comfort breaks and possibly for food where I don't want to be carting a travel bag around with me. The bag will only contain clothing, so loss will be inconvenient more than anything else. I would be carrying document on me at all times.
I am looking to securing the bag to prevent an opportunist thief from just picking up the bag and wandering off with it. I am thinking maybe installing an anchore point behind the seats and using a cable to tie the bag to the anchore point.
Thoughts and suggestions please.
